Aso-ebi which simply means a FAMILY/GROUP OUTFIT is the phrase commonly used to describe the material (which may be lace, ankara, velvet) used as uniform at ceremonies in Nigeria ranging from weddings, burials, naming ceremonies, political gatherings,birthday parties, coronations, e.t.c.
