"D'banj Disappointed Me" OJB

Here's what he said during an interview with Inspiration FM's Gloria Maduka

"The most disappointing one for me is D'banj because he passed through my hands, he was trained under my tutelage. That is offensive. I don't care if you're with Kanye West, you can't forget your root. I won't call anybody else's name but I will call his because it hurts. His own hurts very deep. And he never tried to reach out to me. It's not like we parted on fighting terms.  He told me he had to go to London and he went. And when he came back it was Don Jazzy, and I said OK, that's fine. And what he did worked and I'm very proud of him, the love, that's why it hurts more. He should have come out to say no, I don't know why you people are saying all this, I didn't give OJB N7million, maybe a part of him felt embarrassed because at the end of the day, really, are you not supposed to do something?"
"When P-Square gave me N5million cheque, everybody started treating as a competition. They were like, they brought N5m, I want to show that I can do more, or equal it. So they will come to my house, some will drop N2m, N1m, you say thank you, they take pictures and go away. Then you drop the cheque in your account and you see that almost N4/5million is being returned back to you that it didn't clear. You call them and tell them and they tell you they are coming but they haven't picked the cheques till now.
"The shocking ones are not even the bounced cheques. It's the ones that when they are coming to meet you in the house to give you money, they come with a whole camera crew. Then they will say I'm donating one million naira to you and the cameras start recording and maybe the guy's tape stops, and he says let's take that again (Laughs).
"There were people in my dialysis that I gave N100k each to pay for their dialysis, we didn't publicise it, we didn't take photos with them, because I felt that was unnecessary."

10 Best Videos Of 2013: The YNaija Review

I think this list from YNaija  is on point!
 Check it out.
What do you think?
This year saw quite the improvement in the quality of music videos served up by artistes and labels. From tribute efforts by reliable giants P-Square to gritty urban masterpieces by Burna Boy, these were the videos that had us glued to our screens. And we loved every single one of them.
10) Yes/No- Banky W
Banky’s pleasant eye candy for Yes/No was one of the year’s earliest delights. And how could it not be? All the elements were in place; charming couple to root for, cute child actors, celebrity cameos, crisp pictures, Banky W and his back up dancers act long before it got old. We loved.
9) Baby mi da- Sir Victor Olaiya Ft. 2face
To be honest, this video is not a spectacular one. Directed by Kunle Afolayan, what it offers is the spectacle of coupling a living legend Sir Victor Olaiya with a future legend 2face Idibia and having them perform live together as they update Olaiya’s classic. We would have given anything to be on that set.
8) Say- Bez
Bez’s fairytale video about his romance with a mysterious lady in New York city was directed by Ms Kemi Adetiba and while we were struck initially by the leading lady’s resemblance to Kerry Washington, we stayed glued for the vid’s smooth quality and high fashion aspirations.
7) Emi ni baller Chidinma Ft. Ill Bliss, Suspect
This one dazzled us with it’s combination of colour, storyline, a hint of menace and miss Kedike’s boisterus swag.  Ill Bliss as the boss who sends Chidinma with loads of cash to secure the release of vip prisoner Suspect. Definitely one of the year’s best.
6) Personally- P-Square
The  Okoye brothers do not know how not to make an excellent video, that much is certain but they went all out for this tribute to the late king of pop. Splashy, edgy with a slight comic twist, this one was on steady replay.
5) Khona- Mafikizolo Ft. Uhuru
‘Khona’ was in turns joyful, jubilant, dark, gloomy and mysterious. The most impressive dance video of the year, it welcomed Mafikizolo back to the scene and sent shivers (of the good kind) down our spines.
4) Run my race- Burna Boy
Burna’s dark, stark, gritty ode to the late Abami eda was as expected from him, way beyond his age. Shot on location in the African shrine, the twerking ladies and sweaty bodies were put to good use, amplifying the video’s all round brilliance.
3) Personal something- Sound Sultan
Sound Sultan’s instantly grabby video for ‘Natural something’ was a pleasure to behold. We loved the graphics, the cameos and the colours displayed and prayed for Sound Sultan for being consistent with his talent.
2) Ada ada- Flavour
Flavour’s ‘Ada ada’ was just another decent song on his ‘Blessed’ album until he made the epic glorious video that turned the tide and sent the song to new dizzying heights on the pop charts. Because of this video, ‘Ada ada’ will be played at every wedding ceremony from the east to west, cementing it’s future-classic status.
1) Pata pata- Temi Doll Face
We had no idea who Temi Doll Face was until she dropped this intoxicating video for her sleeper hit ‘Pata pata’. It was fresh, it was breezy, it was original, it was sampled. It was a hit. It was the best.

10 Things Men Find Unattractive In Women But Probably Won’t Tell You

This is according to Charles Novia

1. Excessively Drunk Women – When I was a boy I thought a group of drunk women was the move. When I go to the club now and see a chick throwing up in the bathroom, I get repulsed. Who’s mans is this?!

2. All the way turned up – Why I can hear you in a club on any night is a problem. It’s loud, there’s loud music, and still I can hear your voice shrieking over the speakers. Or what about those women who can’t control their volume when their drunk and try and talk in your ear but they’re screaming?

3. Negative Women – These women think everything is wack. “How about this lovely 80 degree weather today?” “This is wack, why these girls think it’s ok to be wearing their open toes?!”
4. Impatience – They hate waiting. They are the type to tell you to let them know when you have arrived at the restaurant so they can leave their house. They have cavities on each side of their mouth from sucking their teeth so much.

5. Teen Spirit Women: Waiting to be entertained These are the ones who are rimming the club waiting for the party to jump off. They bring nothing to the party, but will call it wack because it didn’t turn into a bashment. Although, they didn’t come to dance anyway.

6. Random hair cuts or attempts to go natural – Have you ever seen that look a man has when he’s been caught cheating? It is NOTHING compared to meeting up with his boo and she decided to cut all her hair off. Your hair was down to the middle of your back yesterday, but now you sporting a Kobe fro. We will not be partying like it’s 1999 boo.

7. Liars – You can just tell this woman is lying. And often times it’s about something she doesn’t have to lie about. She got a hating friend who tells you all her business, especially about how she buys fake designer shoes. And you witness her blacking on some dude; “My shoes cost more than your whole outfit, negro!” #DIQUE.

8. Ms. Know It All – I don’t even have words to describe this one because she probably wants to describe it herself. When you told her that eating too much salmon could cause mecury poisoning, she even brought her grandmother into it, “My grandmother ate salmon everyday and she lived to be 106!” Seriously, this woman can’t take a piece of advice or fact that she didn’t come up with to save her life.

9. Attention Hordes – These women are always showing out looking for a reaction in the building. She usually has the attention of most of the guys, but if there’s one focusing on one of her friends, she makes it a point to hook that guy too. “Oh you got a nice chest. Do you work out?” Meanwhile, dude ain’t got a six-pack, he got a loaf of bread and he’s drinking a 40.

10. Women who think they can do WHATEVER they want – These are the women screaming at the promoter outside the club. These are the women who will break things in your house because they are having a temper tantrum. These are the women who say things like, “And I will tell him to do it, and he will do that ish.” These are the women who end up at the Chesapeake Rest Area because their man didn’t make it out of Maryland before he put her out the Range.

How Burna Boy Angrily Exited The Headies 2013 For Losing Out To Sean Tizzle

This is according to  BellaNaija.com.

Music star Burna Boy exited The Headies 2013 on Thursday night when rising Afro pop star Sean Tizzle was announced winner of the Next Rated category.
The category has been chosen to honour the most promising musician during the period of nomination. The award comes with a brand new ride.
Sean Tizzle picked the award and got the keys to a Hyundai Tucson SUV.

As soon as Sean Tizzle was announced as the winner, Burna Boy left the venue, telling photographers including BellaNaija’s not to take his photos.
Our photographer captured images of a not-so-happy Burna Boy all dressed in black leaving the venue.
Some industry insiders at the event were overheard saying Burna Boy deserved the award more than his fellow nominees including Sean Tizzle, Dammy Krane, Seyi Shay and Phyno.
They went on to speculate that Burna Boy didn’t win the award because he is a GLO ambassador and the awards show is sponsored by a fellow telecommunications company MTN Nigeria.

Now here's Qissy's opinion

Burna dear, you win some, you lose some.
Mabinu dear.
Don't mind me peeps.I'm just playing. But seriously I'm a huge Dammy Krane fan, but I think Sean Tizzle deserved to win! That's called objectivity right? What do you think my people? Sean Tizzle deserved the award or not?

"I’m Single & Not Ready For Marriage " Flavour Reveals

Here's what he told Vanguard ..
People will always  talk  and turn around stories. But I am still single because marriage is not my priority for now. I  still want to hit the top before thinking about marriage. It’s not yet time. I am still concentrating on my music. But the issue is that I try to stay away from trouble. For instance, I don’t even  go to clubs. Anything I want to do something,  I do it in the comfort of my house. I party inside my house. I do my  recording inside my house. When you start mingling and partying with everybody in different places that is where one or two things would start to emerge.
