Lagos Big Babes And Bend Down Select Bras

O ye bend down select underwear rockers, get in here! Do y’all know the origin of all these second hand bras you are sharing? Lol! But on a serious note, it is generally believed that many of these fairly used clothing items were donated to charity homes in Europe and America.

Do you know about the health hazards which experts say could be associated with the use of second hand underwear? Well, as the aproko that I am (and a very big hypochondriac) I interviewed the Lagos State Doctor of the year 2009, Dr Ade Oderinde of the General Hospital, Odan, Lagos Island, who revealed

Lagos Big Babes And Bend Down Select Bras

How Healthy Are BDS Or ‘Boskona’ Bras?

O ye bend down select underwear rockers, get in here! Do y’all know the origin of all these second hand bras you are sharing? Lol! But on a serious note, it is generally believed that many of these fairly used clothing items were donated to charity homes in Europe and America.

They are packaged and sent down to Africa for the less privileged, but these items end up in the hands of traders who sell them at huge profits. The sale of second hand clothing especially underwear has become very lucrative.

In recent times, men have joined the ‘boskona’ or bend down select gang as they now buy second hand boxer shorts, singlet, and t-shirts, while the ladies rush second hand brassieres, panties, corset, leggings, and girdles.

Do you know about the health hazards which experts say could be associated with the use of second hand underwear? Well, as the aproko that I am (and a very big hypochondriac) I interviewed the Lagos State Doctor of the year 2009, Dr Ade Oderinde of the General Hospital, Odan, Lagos Island, who revealed some very shocking facts. I was 3-in 1 flabbergasted, shocked, and overwhelmed. In short, I was in a state of #naonlyyouwakacome. It was a video interview which I’ll be posting on my YouTube Channel- thatisaleekochickTV and Facebook Page in a bit.

I’m just going to tell you 'bend down select bra lovers' that even though he confirms that breast cancer or hepatitis B are not in any way related to the use of second hand bras, there are risks of

"FILMHOUSE Is Superior To All Other Cinemas In West Africa" - Kene Mkparu, Founder/MD

Though unassuming, Kene Mkparu is a role model to many. Founder and Group MD/CEO of FILMHOUSE CINEMAS and FilmOne Production/Distribution Nigeria, he is a man of many parts whose FILMHOUSE CINEMAS has become the biggest in the whole of West Africa.

The former Managing Director, Genesis Deluxe Cinemas Nigeria, MD/CEO of FilmAFRICA UK, and General Manager with Odeon UK currently sits atop the management of FILMHOUSE CINEMAS. He has served as member - Project Implementation Advisory for Bank of Industry Nigeria BOINollyfund, member - Nigeria OSCARS Selection Committee, judge - Nollywood Movies Awards Nigeriajudge - YouWin!, Youth Entrepreneurship Award Scheme, President - Human Race Foundation (NGO) Nigeria/USA/UK, member – Trade, Investment & Competitiveness Policy Commission (Nigeria Economic Summit Group).

In addition, he has several awards and credits to himself which include Producer – ‘When Love Happens’ feature film, Nigeria, 2014, Film Industry Category, Creative Entrepreneur Awards, Nigeria, 2013, Line Producer – ‘Saidi’s Song’ feature film, UK, 2009, Captain – JHFC, FA Amateur League, London, 1999-2008, Producer – ‘Lucky Joe’ feature film, UK/Nigeria, 2007, Best Producer – ‘The Successor’ feature film, AfroHollywood Awards, UK, 2006, and several Odeon Cinemas UK Marketing Campaign Awards 1992-2007. His accomplishments notwithstanding, Mkparu insists he is yet to achieve all of his goals.“Yes, we knew FILMHOUSE CINEMAS was going to be this successful. We set the vision and we haven’t reached all the goals,” he notes.

Speaking to thatisaleekochick.com on his decision to set up FILMHOUSE CINEMAS, Mkparu says, “I worked for a bigger cinema chain in England called Odeon Cinemas for 17 years. A colleague of mine and I decided to come to Nigeria to set up ours. I got into the cinema world while I was studying for my second degree; I got a part time job which I loved so much. It is not just about film, but human resource, and finance management. Everything revolves around management. I like to see people enjoy the films we make. I love to sit in the auditorium watching people enjoy our films. It is super exciting.”

What was the greatest challenge he faced while setting up FILMHOUSE CINEMAS? “Funding was a huge challenge. Cinema was a new business in Nigeria at the time so a lot of the financial institutions didn’t understand the business model. We had to spend time to convince the institutions to give us money. The minute they did and saw that the business was good, they carried on. Also, there wasn’t a lot of management skills because cinema business was new in Nigeria. We had to create a school to train people on cinema technology and management,” he notes.

Speaking on the success story of FILMHOUSE CINEMAS, Mkparu says “Technology wise, FILMHOUSE is ahead of others; we are the third biggest cinema chain in Africa, the biggest in Nigeria, and the whole of West Africa, the only one in
