Diary Of An Isale-Eko Chick: April Came With So Many Events!!!

On Saturday,April 30,2016, the community of ex-staff of DBN Television hosted a high octane 60th birthday celebration in honour of the Chairman and founder of DBNTV,Chief Osa Sunny Adun, at the Eko Hotel & Suites,Victoria Island ,Lagos. As a tested and trusted Isale Eko Chick, I attended the event, and thought it wise to bring it right here in my very public diary. Lol! Enjoy!

The very successful event which was well attended by dignitaries who are mostly ex-staffers of DBN was indeed a befitting birthday celebration for Chief Adun who represents a trailblazing spirit and an irrepressible agent for the transformation of the broadcast media landscape in Nigeria.

The event which doubled as the inauguration of the DBN Alumni body had in attendance notable figures such as, Bisi Olatilo,Quincy Ayodele,Alhaji Muri Gbadeyanka of MITV,Essence,Frank Edoho,Bovi,Weird MC, and a host of others.

Popular ex- DBN presenters such as, Blessing Abu,Lanre Anjola Oyebode,Segun Adebowale,Chamberlain Usoh,Namure Edoimioya,Blessing Idahosa, and a host of others gave tributes to their former boss,Chief Adun in very grand manner.

Ok so everyone knows I'm a tv addict, and my close pals know I couldn't do without Telemundo even if I tried. Yes ke,for me it has become like an obsession, and whenever I miss an episode of my favorite telenovelas on Telemundo,I automatically become sad. Alright I won't even try to bore you with stories, but I'm just a little curious to now if there are a bunch of telemundo addicts like me in the building. 6 Health Benefits Of Coconut Water You Should Know

For centuries, people from tropical regions have known about the amazing health benefits of tender coconut water, which comes from young green coconuts. Each nut contains about 200 to 1,000 milliliters (approximately 1 to 4 cups) of coconut water.

It is a delicious and refreshing low-calorie natural beverage. Tender coconut water contains more nutrients than mature coconut water.
It’s packed with antioxidants, amino acids, enzymes, B-complex vitamins, vitamin C and minerals like iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, manganese and zinc.

The micronutrients in coconut water help boost the immune system. Plus, the plant hormones called cytokinins in this health drink exhibit anti-aging, antithrombotic and anticancer effects.
To reap the maximum health benefits, opt for fresh and pure coconut water over the bottled version. You can drink a few cups of coconut water a day or add it to your smoothie recipes.

Sex Styles Women Can Use To Keep Their Husbands

- Marriage Counselor, Dr. Nkem Okoro

Dr. Nkem Okoro is the founder and Chief Coordinator of “The Wife”. The very popular marriage counselor has a book titled “Enriching Marital Sex” which was reviewed by Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

“Sexual intercourse can take place in a variety of positions, all of which are normal. Different positions have different levels of comfort, convenience and pleasure. Every couple should take the initiative to create more positions and techniques that will suit their situation and increase enjoyment.” She says.

In the book, she shares various sex styles women can use to keep their husbands.

FACE TO FACE, HUSBAND ON TOP (BASIC SEX POSITION)

This is the most popular position. The wife lies on her back with her legs spread apart and a little bent. The husband is above her, between her legs and supports himself by his elbows and knees in order not to bother her with his weight.
The advantage of the basic position is that there is clitoral stimulation. The wife should participate actively here by moving her buttocks left and right, up and down and make good use of her fingers while in this position. She can clip or squeeze her husband’s penis to give him maximum stimulation and pleasure by contracting and releasing her vaginal walls.
Variations of the basic position are: a. Stimulating basic position. The woman rests her legs on her husband’s shoulders. The husband feels more stimulation and reaches orgasm faster.
The position also helps a husband who cannot sustain erection. b. Gliding position. The woman lies on her back with her legs spread apart and her husband lies on top of her. His legs and feet are along hers. Her inner thighs and the vulva form part of the canal for the penis.

FACE TO FACE, WIFE ON TOP (JOCKEY POSITION)

The husband lies on the bed. The wife sits

Revealed! Why Office Affairs Seem Difficult To Break

Last Saturday, we started a series on why office affairs seem difficult to break. Today, we shall proceed with the continuation. Lopsided libidoral match is a common complaint among women who seek office sexual pleasure outside their matrimonial bed, particularly among those married to men far older than they are, or women who possess a higher sexual libido. It is also common among women in their second or third marriages.

It is no longer a taboo today to see women possessing a high insatiable sexual appetite, and the moment these cravings are in short supply, the tendencies to seek for availability is usually on the rampage. The other Thursday, I paid a visit to a famous shop on Victoria Island and  as I was about entering the store, I noticed a loudspeaker van neatly parked not too far from the store. As I moved nearer, the salesman came out with a microphone singing the praise of some aphrodisiac drug for women. To my surprise, a number of women crowded round this man to examine the products in public! Before now, such was not common, but times are changing fast. Many husbands are not aware of the fact that their wives have more sexual taste bud than they have especially when these wives are highly enlightened and exposed. Many wives with high insatiable sexual appetites now go for artificial penis, younger penis and

10 Best Ways To Keep Your Ankara Fabric From Fading

Although African prints can be worn as any other type of fabric, the garment here is very delicate and it's important that you learn how to care for them, and follow the washing instructions. The hydrophilic nature of Ankara fabric gives it the ability to absorb moisture quickly and dry fast. This gives the fabric a cooling effect and makes it perfect for sunny weather.
Here are 10 best ways to keep your Ankara from fading:
# Don’t wash with detergent: It’s preferable to use mild soap when washing with hands, instead of detergent. Detergents easily fade fabrics as they are very harsh, especially on the ankara fabric.
# Launder Ankara only when necessary: It’s not advisable to wash this fabric often. Just launder only when the need arises.
# Hand wash your ankara: If you wish to enjoy your fabric, wash with hands.Washing machines and dryers can be extremely rough on the ankara fabric that you put inside them.
# Use Baking soda: Stains are sometimes unavoidable. Try using baking soda or an alternative that is not as harsh as bleach to get rid of stains on your ankara fabric.
# Treat only the areas that need to be cleaned: There just occasions whereby you just need to treat only the spots or areas that need to be cleaned and let it air dry.
# Tossing: Try tossing your ankara fabric into the wash with a tablespoon of salt. The chloride content of the salt will help seal the colour in.
#  Hang to dry- please do not use a dryer, this will damage the material and I’m sure you don't want that. When hanging your garment to dry, also make sure to avoid sunny spots as too much sun will fade the material.
  # You should only maschine wash with warm water and mild soap.
#  Make sure to avoid the Spin cyle. If it's on, please make sure to turn it off before washing your garment
# Once dry, make sure to iron on the wrong side at medium temperature, not very hot.

Exclusive: Why Many Nigerians Are Suffering From Type 2 DIABETES

Diabetes is a chronic disease, which occurs when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin, or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces. This leads to an increased concentration of glucose in the blood (hyperglycaemia).

Type 1 diabetes previously known as insulin-dependent or childhood-onset diabetes is characterized by a lack of insulin production.

Type 2 diabetes formerly called non-insulin-dependent or adult-onset diabetes is caused by the body’s ineffective use of insulin. It often results from excess body weight and physical inactivity.
