Qismat At The Lagos Fashion And Design Week 2015!!!

Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2015 Kinabuti & Maybelline Showcase - BellaNaija - October 2015001

This year marks the 5th anniversary of Lagos Fashion and Design Week; a dynamic initiative that remains dedicated to the growth and promotion of creatives in the industry,so it was again a season to showcase the best of what Nigeria has to offer in terms of fashion. It was indeed a gathering of the who is who in the industry as the show commenced on Wednesday October 28 at The Federal Palace Hotel,Victoria Island Lagos. The venue as usual was on point, decoration of the whole area from the exhibition arena,to the black carpet area, and the main hall was fabulous.I had an issue with the timing,as the show was scheduled to start by 5:30 but didn't start till about 8:30.That wasn't really nice, they started late on day 2 as well. The organizers should please do something about this.

The vibrant colours from Tiffany Amber’s “Marine” collection for Spring/Summer’16 kicked off the event.

An integral part of the platform is LFDW Fashion Focus, a joint collaborative effort of Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design Week in partnership with British Council.

The 2015 edition of the British Council Fashion Focus kicked off on the 28th of October at Day 1 of Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2015, with the first batch of 4 showcasing their talent to a room filled with fashion gurus, editors, photographers and more.
